D/N Composite Double Braid Spliceable braided polyester sleeve over braided nylon core. Due to the even balance of stress between the sleeve and the core this composite rope has shock absorption properties similar to nylon and a higher tensile strength than either nylon or polyester ropes. In sea water it has a negative buoyancy of .179 gms/cc and therefore will sink rapidly. Polyester has excellent resistance to abrasion, sunlight, and most common chemicals.
