MENUMENU

Manila 3-Strand

One of the earliest materials used to make rope was natural manila vegetable fiber. This traditional all-purpose rope is still used extensively in the marine, agriculture, trucking and construction industries. Manila rope is inexpensive, natural, won’t stick to capstans or bits, and is biodegradable. Since it is natural vegetable fiber, proper care and dry storage is necessary to prevent degradation and loss of strength.
